Urine collection straw has a mechanism for simple transfer ofurine samples directly from a standard urine container to avacuum sample tube without being exposed to the specimen.Particularly useful when a urine sample is provided in a standardurine container or vessel and by placing the straw end into theurine sample and connecting, the evacuated tube to the probeend of the device, the sample then transfers into the collectiontube for the clinical laboratory performing urinalysis.
